Mr. lmran Ali Shah trained at Palacky University in Czech Republic. He undertook his BST (Basic Surgical Training) in London. His Postgraduate qualifications include double MRCS degrees from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons in Edinburgh and Glasgow, Dip. SICOT from Sweden and FRCS (Tr. And Orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons in London. Mr. Shah’s late father established A.O. Clinic in the trauma-active city of Karachi in Pakistan in 1985. This inspired Mr. Shah’s career in Trauma and Orthopaedics, and he is currently running A.O. Clinic and continuing his fathers legacy. Mr. Shah’s areas of interest are: Complex Neglected Infected Nonunions/Malunions, Osteomyelitis and he has completed a DePuy Fellowship in primary and revision knee arthroplasty at East Surrey Hospital, Surrey, UK. Mr. Shah is active in postgraduate teaching and has been invited to speak about Chronic Osteomyelitis and its management for the past four years at the National Orthopaedic Infection Forum UK. He also teaches on FRCS courses in the UK and medical students and orthopaedic registrars in Karachi, Pakistan.
